Fiches techniques : comparez les conditions d'essai

Une autonomie sans mode, température de l'eau ni état de batterie n'est pas comparable. Données annonciatrices de retours, pièges d'unités et fiche vierge à réutiliser.

Our Y50S cleaning result comes with its setup written down: a tiled pool of 3 × 3 m, water around 10 °C, 450 g of sand plus 20 rotting leaves, one hour, and a 90% pass mark. Hold every line on a spec sheet to that standard, because a figure you can't reproduce can't be compared with anyone else's.

The basket held 415 g, or 92%, in that run (QM test 24089). The number is useful because its conditions travel with it.

A spec line has two halves

The number is one half. The other half is the condition it was measured under, and a sheet that prints only the first leaves you guessing. For runtime, ask which cleaning mode, whether the battery was new and fully charged, roughly how warm the water was, and whether the robot stayed on the floor or climbed walls. Owners and reviewers time robots their own way in their own pools, and a runtime with no conditions is the figure they quote back in a review.

Which lines predict returns?

Surfaces cleaned comes first, because a floor-only robot listed as cleaning the whole pool comes back. Our sheets print it in fixed words: “Pool floor only”, “Floor, walls and waterline (4 cleaning modes)” and, for skimmers, “Water surface only”. Those words should reach your box and listing unchanged. Maximum pool size is second. Filtration and basket volume are third, read together: the micron figure says what gets caught, the liters say how soon the basket fills.

Flow rate on its own decides little. Our C3 lists 20 GPM and the C1 30 GPM, and both are rated for 150 m² pools.

Units that break a side-by-side

Normalize units before comparing anything, ours included. Our robots give flow in GPM and our handhelds in L/min. Most of our robot sheets give runtime in minutes, while the Y50 lists 4.5 hours, which is easy to misread in a column of minutes. Skimmers give pool size as a range, 100–150 m² on the Y90 Pro, where robots give one maximum. Across suppliers, square feet against square meters is the classic trap.

Battery capacity in mAh compares only packs of the same voltage. Our sheets list 2600 mAh on the Y20 and 10400 mAh on the Y50, so ask for the voltage beside every mAh figure.

“Up to” figures and blanks

Mark every “up to” figure so it never sits next to a measured one. Our S100 page gives the runtime as 25 hours in the spec table and as “Up to 25 Hours per Charge” in the feature list; read both as a ceiling that depends on sun. Leave blanks blank and send them back as questions, since a blank filled with a guess is worse than no figure.

Charge time is the blank worth chasing first. Our C5 sheet lists a full recharge in 3.5–4.5 hours, and that figure decides whether an owner can run the robot again the same day.

Reproduce two lines on a sample

Choose the two lines your channel sells on and test them yourself. For runtime, charge the sample fully, set the mode you'll advertise, run it in a pool like your customers' and write down the water temperature. For coverage, watch one full cycle and mark what the robot missed. If your result lands near the sheet, build the listing on it. If it doesn't, ask the supplier how they measured before you blame the robot.

Want the comparison sheet above as a working file? Ask for it as an editable spreadsheet with your quote request. We'll fill in the printed specs for each of our pool robots on your list, so only the other suppliers' columns stay empty.
