Robotic Pool Cleaner vs Pool Skimmer: Building a Complete Pool Care Line
Robotic cleaners and solar skimmers solve different problems. Here's how they work together in one pool care line.

Robotic pool cleaners and solar skimmers solve different problems. For a retailer or brand, the question isn't which one to sell, but how they work together.
What a robotic pool cleaner does
A robotic cleaner works below the surface. Floor-only models clean the pool floor and suit entry price points. Full-coverage robots such as the Y50S also climb walls, scrub the waterline and offer app control.
What a solar skimmer does
A skimmer floats on the surface and collects leaves and debris before they sink. The S100 runs up to 25 hours on solar and adapter charging, with an 8 L basket and a built-in chlorine tablet dispenser.
Why stock both
The skimmer keeps the surface clear between robot cycles, and the robot handles what sinks. Selling both covers more pool owners and raises the value of each order.
Add a handheld vacuum
For spot cleaning, steps and spas, the H100 and H200 handheld pool vacuums complete the range.
Building the line
A simple way to plan the range: a floor-only robot and a handheld vacuum at entry level, a full-coverage robot and a solar skimmer in the middle, and the quad-motor Y50 with the S100 at the top.
