What to Send for a Faster Pool Robot Quote

Asking for a pool robot price list? The details that let a factory quote in one round, why each one changes the price, and a sample brief to copy.

"Please send your price list" is one of the most common first messages we get from new buyers, and it's the one we can answer least usefully on the first try. The price of a pool robot moves with the route you choose, the quantity, the packaging and the documents your market needs. Without those, our first reply has to be a list of questions, and the quote waits for the answers.
These are the details our team asks for most often. Put them in your first message and the reply can come back with suggested models, options and pricing in one round.

Can you send me your price list?

A flat list doesn't fit how pool robots are sold. The same model is priced differently as neutral stock in 100–300 units, as private label at 500–2,000 units and in a volume program of 2,000+ units. Your packaging, manual languages and certifications move it again. A quote built on your details is one you can take straight to your own buyer or finance team.

Which market and channel are you selling in?

Your country decides the charger plug, the certification marks the box needs and the languages in the manual. Certificates are issued per model, so naming the market lets us check what's available for each model before we quote. The channel matters as well. A robot sold online from a warehouse needs different packaging and listing material from one sold off a pool-shop shelf, and a distributor buying for several stores usually wants a range of models in one order.

Which model, or which pools?

If you know the model, name it. If you don't, describe the pools your customers have: in-ground or above-ground, roughly how big, and whether the walls need cleaning as well as the floor. That's enough for us to suggest models. For floor-only cleaning in pools up to 100 m², we'd start from the Y10 or Y20. For the floor, walls and waterline in pools up to 200 m², we'd start from the Y50S. Adding your price tier, whether entry, mid-range or premium, narrows it further.

How many units, and under whose brand?

Give a quantity per model, even a range. Our programs start at 100–300 units for neutral stock, 500–2,000 for private label and 2,000+ for a volume program, while ODM usually runs at 5,000+ units a year. The quote changes at each step, so tell us which route you're aiming for.
If it's private label, say which parts you want to change. On an existing model that's the logo, a housing color from the available range, the retail box and the manual language. Each one adds work we have to price, and if one is missing from the brief, the quote usually needs a second round.

What certifications do you need?

List the marks your retailer or market asks for, such as CE and RoHS for the EU, UKCA for the UK or FCC for the US. If you're not sure, tell us the market and channel and we'll tell you what we have for each model. A certificate for one model can't be used for another, so this is worth settling before the quote. Mention your shipping method too. Lithium-battery robots travel with a UN38.3 test report and an MSDS, which we supply, and air freight adds dangerous-goods paperwork and labels.

When do the goods need to be ready?

Give us the date the robots have to be ready to ship, or the date they need to reach your warehouse plus how you'll ship them. Our lead times run until the goods are ready to ship and don't include freight: 7–14 days for neutral stock, about 90 days for a first private-label program and 30–45 days for repeat orders. If your date is tight for the route you picked, we'd rather say so in the quote and suggest one that fits.

What does a one-round brief look like?

Put together, it can be as short as this: "We're a pool-supply retailer in Germany, selling in stores and online. We need a floor-only robot for in-ground pools up to 100 m², 500 units under our own brand with a German manual, CE and RoHS required, shipping by sea, ready to ship by the end of February." Two sentences, and our first reply can carry a model suggestion, options and pricing.
